Had Mr. Poulson – He asked
the price of one carriage for 2 English gentlemen, arrived yesterday – I would
think about it – The Landlord said 50 species thalers the value, but I must take
less.

of the town along the little ? into the Drammur Road. At some distance towards the Presq’isle, the public
gardens of the inhabitants of Christiania – 3 boat-stations – We stood at the
middle one – Beautiful view – The pavillion in sight on the Presque Isle district,
right, and a bridge over the fjord at the foot of the pavillion hill – No company
there yesterday on account of the weather.
A drop or 2 of rain as we came in at 2 1/4 –
Said I would take 40 for the
carriage – The English gentlemen will not take it – The Landlord here offers me
35 species thalers – I decline this – Think to post it to Götheborg – The carriage
fare on board the steamer will be 18 species thalers and Ann and myself 9 species

Had Smith and the Landlord about
the carriage etc. – Sold it to a medical professor for 40 species
