Breakfast at 9 3/4 – Afterwards, gave things for wash.  Arranged for taking only my bag to the Isle of Wight.

Letter 3 pages and ends from Miss Hobart.  Wrote in an hour 3 pages in answer – Speak of being back here on Saturday.  Do pray let me find a letter from you without endLove to Lady  Stuart ever – I certainly do not deserve the insupportable pain of hearing that you are “thoroughly uncomfortable” Love to Lady Stuart – Ever, my dearest Vere, with claim and without sacrifice, Very affectionately yours, AL-“
